we often hear people say, “never give up.” these can be encouraging wordsand words of determination. a person who believes in them will keep trying toreach his goal no matter how many times he fails. in my opinion, the quality ofdetermination to succeed is an important one to have. therefore, i believe thatwe should never give up.
one reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieveanything. it is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at somethingnew, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. besides, if wealways give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and growas people. another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from ourmistakes only if we make a new effort. if we do not try again, the lesson wehave learned is wasted. finally, we should never give up because as we work toreach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeedin other areas of our lives. if we never challenge ourselves, we will begin todoubt our abilities.

教师竞聘演讲词根据我院内部机构设置，针对本人工作能力，我竞聘总务入岗位。
一、我于92年调入蒙师任小车司机，95年兼任保卫副科长，在保卫科这段工作中，虽说身兼两职有时工作紧张起来夜以继日，非常欣，由于有领导和同志们的支持，较好的完成了各项工作。
我想做为科室领导、不但要尽职尽责地完成本职工作，而且还要根据科室的特点进行认真的分析研究，做好与科室相连带相关工作、开拓、延伸以便工作带着科室领导创造性的向前发展。
在任副科长期间，始终把加强学习，提高科室人员素质和责任心放在首位，有时是就事论事，有时防患于未然等方面进行学习有时计划有组织地学习、收到了明显效果。
制定并完善各项规章制度，明确各方面的岗位责任制，工作中明确要、严格检查，不放过可能出现的批漏、免除了一些事故的发生。在增强防火意识上下了相当大的功起作用。收效明显、并在科室网页上对安全消防工作做了大量宣传。
为了加大保卫工作力度开展了警发共建活劝，通过和机关的联系，收到了实质性的成果，还校园一清洁，同时为了保证师生合法权益，我们建立了申诉制度，成立了申拆办公室并受到了上级有关部们检查后好评和表彰。总之全校师生的安全，学校财产得到保障是我最大的安慰和满足。
二、后勤管理社会意识
第一把提高总务后勤职工的整体综合素质放在首位。总务后勤管理工作能否适应新时期学校建设发展的需要，我认为建设一支高质量的总务后勤职工队伍事关重要。首先要加强政治理论学习、提高制下服务规范或操作规程。使管理和服务工作逐步，走向规范化和标准化，必须强化、检查考核制度进行及时的信息反馈。总务也应设立相应的人员采取定期检查和临时抽查相结合的方式，加强监督工作。
第二建章立制，实现规范化和标准化管理，结合我院发展建设的实际建立一整套切实可行的管理规章制度制定处、班、组的工作职责范围和个人岗位责任制，并结合不同的工作岗位社会福利事业和性质，这主要表现为学校后勤工作的目的不是为了赚钱，而主要是为教学科研和师生生活服务。
第三改革效益工资制度，实行有效机制。为了充分调动总务后勤职工的积极性，必须解决干与不干一个样，干好干坏一个样的平均主义，吃大锅饭的问题要结合运用经济手段强化管理。要把个人完成任务的质量，数量，效率作为科室和个人考核的重要依据奖惩分明。
第四积极创造条件逐步实现总务后勤工作管理社会化。学校后勤工作它具有政治觉悟，充分认识总务，后勤工作在学校工作中的地位和作用。树立从事总务，后勤工作责任感，使命感，把热情地为师生服务的思路。其次，要不断地对总务，后勤职工进行职业道德和为人师表方面的教育，积极介导爱岗敬业，文明守纪的新风尚，开展岗位练兵活动。营造一种人人学文化，个个学技术的环境，从而提高其文化层次和技层水平。
学校后勤改革的方向是社会化。就我们学院而言，我认为现阶段是学院领导下的社化管理，要逐步按照企业的管理办法来管理后勤工作。在做好三服务的前提下，积极开展创收，逐步走上以后勤之路。
