有一次，我正在写一篇文章，可我左思右想都没有想出一个好题材，一本稿纸被我撕了好几页。妈妈提醒我：“琪，这些纸都是用树木做的，不能那么浪费，如果每个人都浪费一页纸的话，那会毁坏多少树木啊！地球已经不堪一击，我们要精心保护地球，人类才能生活在地球上。”听了妈妈的话，我感到十分羞愧。
低碳环保，首先要从身边的小事做起。我们吃完冰棍后，都会把冰棍的木棍子扔掉，这样又是一种破坏环境的行为。所以我们就应该把资源回收再造，把冰棍的木棍子做成书签，或者利用它做出一个迷你立体拼图，又好玩又锻炼脑力。
如果每个人都能做到杜绝使用一次性筷子，少开汽车，多多步行或骑自行车，既节能减排，又锻炼身体，一举两得等等，那地球将是一处仙境。
